Crash triage
After a crash the Server page names the likely cause — out of memory, a damaged save, a mod, an update mismatch or a port in use — next to what changed since the last good start.
Run ARK: Survival Ascended on your PC or a rented server — Nitrado PC and console, a Pterodactyl panel, or any host with RCON and FTP or SFTP: one steady RCON connection, tribe logs without plugins, admins without typing enablecheats, crash triage, CurseForge mods with test boots and verified backups.
AdminListURL: no enablecheats neededAfter a crash the Server page names the likely cause — out of memory, a damaged save, a mod, an update mismatch or a port in use — next to what changed since the last good start.
A warning, and an optional early restart, before the server runs out of memory.
On a server on your PC, the admins on the Staff page are written into GameUserSettings.ini as an AdminListURL the tool serves itself (EOS ids only), so they can use admin commands without typing enablecheats. You can also set your own admin password.
The game log and tribe logs as a killfeed, raids, tames, tribe changes and admin commands, with nothing counted twice. It tells you when the game log is off, and a server on your PC starts with tribe logs fully on.
Mods in load order with their newest files, what the log says about each, update checks, and a test boot with its own save folder before going live.
GameUserSettings.ini and Game.ini with plain labels, a search box and a raw view, in the same layout as ARK: Survival Evolved. Saved only while the server is stopped (it rewrites the file when it stops).
Backups that are checked to open, wipes with a dry run — the whole world, survivors only, wild dinos or cluster uploads — and the cluster doctor.
Kicks and timed bans shared across your servers, with the reason shown to the player first, private messages and tribes. An admin's name used from another account is flagged.
Nitrado PC and console servers, a Pterodactyl panel (BisectHosting and others) or any host with RCON and FTP or SFTP. Fix it for me turns RCON on at a free port the panel opens. Console mode reads the log when there's no RCON.
News, two-way chat, slash commands, a daily summary and triggers, with posts in your community's language. Plugin extras such as ArkShop points only when a plugin framework is found.
ASA speaks Source RCON, with its own quirks: replies have no end marker, so RCON Hub reads until the line goes quiet. It keeps one connection open and reuses it for everything, because reconnecting for every command is reported to leak threads on ASA servers, and one reader asks for players, chat and the game log every few seconds. ASA's kick has no reason, so the player is shown why for 3 seconds first. Adding a rented server is still a preview for this game: Nitrado and Pterodactyl panels have been tested on real servers with other games (7 Days to Die on Nitrado, Project Zomboid on BisectHosting), not yet with this one.
RCON Hub can ban one person on every server of every game you run, from one page. Here's how that ban reaches ARK: Survival Ascended: ASA only knows players by EOS id, so a hub-wide ban reaches ASA servers when RCON Hub knows that player's EOS id. It's sent with BanPlayer over RCON; a stopped or unreachable server gets it when it's back.
On servers where you turn it on, a clear cheat confirmed by ClanStop keeps a player off every server that enforces global bans. A match kicks the player from that server right away; only ClanStop can make a ban global, after re-checking the evidence. How global bans work. How to set it up, step by step (English guide).
No global rules are possible on vanilla ARK: its logs have no weapon, distance or position, and beds, Titans and transfers look like cheating.
Step-by-step fixes for the problems ARK: Survival Ascended server owners hit most.
Reconnecting for every command is reported to leak threads on ASA servers. RCON Hub keeps one connection per server, reuses it for everything and reconnects with a growing pause when it drops.
No. Killfeed, raids, tames and tribe changes come from the game's own logs. Plugin extras like ArkShop points appear only when a plugin framework is found.
Yes, when RCON Hub knows their EOS id — ASA never shows Steam ids. Without it, the ban page says why ASA was skipped.
Add them on the Staff page. For a server on your PC, RCON Hub serves that list to the server over AdminListURL before every start, so admin commands work without enablecheats. Your own admin password with enablecheats works too.
Yes. RCON Hub's ASA tool is free for Windows. It keeps one steady Source RCON connection for the console, players, chat, kicks and bans, and adds tribe logs, mods, settings, backups and wipes.
Yes, PC and console servers on Nitrado, a Pterodactyl panel (BisectHosting and others), or any host with RCON and FTP/FTPS or SFTP. Console mode reads the log when there's no RCON, and settings Nitrado manages go to Nitrado. Rented servers are still a preview for this game: the Nitrado and Pterodactyl panel support has been tested on real servers with other games, not yet with this one.
Yes. Its tools have been tested on a real ARK: Survival Ascended server. Adding a rented server (Nitrado, a Pterodactyl panel or FTP) is still marked Preview until it has been fully tried on a real host. RCON Hub is beta software, so back up before big changes.
