BattlEye RCon and players
Who's on with address and ping; kick, timed bans and private messages; each player's Steam64, BattlEye GUID and DayZ id linked.
Run DayZ on your PC or on Nitrado — including Xbox and PlayStation servers: BattlEye RCon, a killfeed and raid timelines from the ADM log, Workshop mods with keys and a check before every start, and an economy editor that checks types.xml before it saves.
Who's on with address and ping; kick, timed bans and private messages; each player's Steam64, BattlEye GUID and DayZ id linked.
Kills with weapon and distance, deaths and chat — also on console servers, where there's no RCon.
Build, dismantle and destroy events per base, with owners, raiders, offline raids and case files for disputes.
Loot items in plain words with a preview of what a change does. Every save is checked first — well-formed XML and the CE rules — the old file is kept as .bak, and saving waits until the server is stopped.
Paste a Workshop ID, link or collection and add it in one click, with each mod's picture, size, last update and the mods it needs. Keys are copied and removed with the mods; load order with a Fix the order button, server-only mods, a check before every start, and "updated in Steam" warnings.
BattlEye's ban list, ban.txt, the whitelist and the priority queue.
Backups and rollback of the persistence, and wipes — full, characters only or world only — with a dry run and a schedule.
Very long shots, many headshots, kill bursts, impossible speed and leaving after a fight, with the log lines that show why. Warnings for staff; they never kick by themselves.
Xbox and PlayStation servers have no RCon, so everything comes from their log and files, with the log's delay said plainly.

A search box narrows Settings to the ones whose name, description or key matches.
PC servers speak BattlEye RCon over UDP. On your own PC, RCON Hub sets a new RCon password at every start and only listens on this PC. Console servers on Nitrado have no RCon at all, so RCON Hub reads their ADM log and files instead. DayZ's server can't be downloaded anonymously: you sign SteamCMD in yourself, in its own window, and RCON Hub never sees your Steam login. Adding a rented server is still a preview for this game: Nitrado and Pterodactyl panels have been tested on real servers with other games (7 Days to Die on Nitrado, Project Zomboid on BisectHosting), not yet with this one.
RCON Hub can ban one person on every server of every game you run, from one page. Here's how that ban reaches DayZ: The BattlEye GUID is worked out from the Steam64, so even someone who never played here can be banned. Connected servers get addBan and writeBans; a stopped server or a rented PC server with file access gets bans.txt and ban.txt edited instead.
On servers where you turn it on, a clear cheat confirmed by ClanStop keeps a player off every server that enforces global bans. A match kicks the player from that server right away; only ClanStop can make a ban global, after re-checking the evidence. How global bans work. How to set it up, step by step (English guide).
| Rule | When it matches | Repeats |
|---|---|---|
| Firearm range | any firearm kill beyond 2000 m (twice the maximum zero and network bubble) | 2 |
| Speed | faster than 120 m/s for a minute between logged positions — faster than any vehicle | 2 |
| Killed while dead or goneall games | a kill more than 10 s after the killer died or left, or before they joined | 1 |
| Kill beyond the mapall games | a kill distance larger than the map's own diagonal | 1 |
| Dead attackerall games | hits or kills while logged dead | 1 |
The logged distance is also checked against the distance between both logged positions. Every rule ships switched off until it's been checked on a live server.
Step-by-step fixes for the problems DayZ server owners hit most.
Yes, on Nitrado. Console servers have no RCon, so everything comes from the server's log and files. RCON Hub says how far behind the log is, and warns you when there's no admin log.
No. DayZ's dedicated server can't be downloaded anonymously, so you sign SteamCMD in yourself in its own window. RCON Hub never sees or stores your Steam login.
Every save is checked first — well-formed XML with the line of any problem, whole numbers, min below nominal, duplicates — the old file is kept as .bak, and saving waits until the server is stopped.
Yes. RCON Hub's DayZ tool is free for Windows. It gives you the BattlEye RCon console, players, kicks, timed bans and private messages, and reads the ADM log for kills, chat and raids.
Yes. PC servers get BattlEye RCon plus their files, Nitrado's own settings and restarts through the panel. Xbox and PlayStation servers work through their log and files. Rented servers are still a preview for this game: the Nitrado and Pterodactyl panel support has been tested on real servers with other games, not yet with this one.
Use a DayZ server folder you already have, or install one with SteamCMD after signing SteamCMD in yourself. RCON Hub starts it, stops it cleanly over RCon, restarts it on a schedule or after a crash, and checks your mods before every start.
Yes. Its tools have been tested on a real DayZ server. Adding a rented server (Nitrado, a Pterodactyl panel or FTP) is still marked Preview until it has been fully tried on a real host. RCON Hub is beta software, so back up before big changes.
