How to track WARDOGS player stats, K/D and leaderboards

Track K/D, headshots and longest kills per WARDOGS player, with profiles, leaderboards and a public ClanStop stats page linked from match recaps.

· WARDOGS server manager

Your players want to see their K/D and stats on your WARDOGS server, but the game gives server owners no stats history: it sends each kill to a web address, and nothing keeps it unless something receives it. RCON Hub fixes it: its WARDOGS Manager pack records every kill into player stats, keeps a profile for every player, and puts a public stats page with a leaderboard on ClanStop.

Why stats matter on WARDOGS

Stats give players a reason to come back. They want to know if they beat last night's K/D, who had the longest kill, and where they rank. Without them, a good round is forgotten by the next one.

So the manual fix looks like this:

  • Set up something that can receive the game's kill feed, and a tunnel if it runs on a PC at home.
  • Add up kills, deaths and headshots per player yourself.
  • Paste the round's results into Discord by hand.
  • Answer "what's my K/D?" one player at a time.

What the game and other tools leave out

  • Kills need somewhere to go. The game server posts its kill feed to an address, so a home PC would need a tunnel. WARDOGS Manager can fetch kills through ClanStop's relay instead.
  • No history per player. RCON shows who's online right now. WARDOGS Manager keeps a profile for every player: K/D, headshots, longest kill, recent rounds, weapons, kill distances and moderation history.
  • Stats stuck on one server. With Share player stats on, ClanStop adds up each player's numbers across every community that shares, and their ClanStop profile shows kills, deaths and K/D day by day, up to 2 years back.
  • Nowhere for players to look. Players can't open your admin tool. Your ClanStop stats page shows the round being played, a leaderboard and who's online, and players can claim their profile by signing in with Steam.
  • Recaps by hand. WARDOGS Manager posts a match recap to Discord after each round, and it ends with a link to your stats page.

How RCON Hub fixes it

Once the kill feed arrives, WARDOGS Manager tracks every kill. Each round in round history shows kills, deaths, K/D and headshot rate. Per-player totals stay complete, while weapons, distances and kill bursts cover the last 30 days.

Your ClanStop stats page shows the current round: the map, how long it's been going, each team's score, and everyone online with their kills, deaths, K/D, headshots and longest kill, team by team. The leaderboard has its own page.

The match recap posts the winner, the round's length, each team's score, the MVP and the top players by kills with their K/D. Player ratings from those rounds also drive team balance.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Install RCON Hub. Download it from rconhub.gg and run the installer. It's free for Windows 10 and 11.
  2. Add the WARDOGS game pack. Open RCON Hub. On Your games, click Add game, pick WARDOGS and click Install.
  3. Add your server. Open the WARDOGS card and click Add server. Enter the Server IP address and RCON password, click Connect, name it, then click Add server.
  4. Turn on the kill feed. Click Set up the kill feed. It walks you through it for your server, with no tunnel needed. Player stats need it.
  5. See the stats. Open the Players tab. Online now shows kills, deaths, K/D, team kills and ping live. All players (profiles) lists everyone seen, and a click opens their profile.
  6. Share with ClanStop. In RCON Hub's sidebar, open ClanStop. Under your WARDOGS server, tick List this server on ClanStop and Share player stats with ClanStop, then click Save.
  7. Get your stats page. While the server is listed and in good standing, Your server's stats page appears there. Click Copy link and share it with your players.
  8. Post match recaps. On your server, open the Messages tab, then Discord posts. Paste a webhook under Public posts and tick Post a recap after each round. Click Send test to see an example, then Save.

Is it safe?

Yes.

  • It runs locally. RCON Hub and WARDOGS Manager run on your own Windows PC and talk to your server over the game's RCON.
  • No injection. RCON Hub never touches the game client or your players' games. There's nothing for anti-cheat to flag, so it won't get anyone banned.
  • SteamIDs stay private. They go to ClanStop's backend only. ClanStop's pages show names, never IDs.
  • Off until you say so. Listing and sharing stats are both off until you turn them on. Kills on the relay are held only until WARDOGS Manager fetches them, a day at most.
  • Your secrets stay put. Your RCON password is kept encrypted on your PC, and your admins never see it.

It's beta software. Back up your server's settings before you change things.

Give every round a scoreboard that lasts

Players stick around when their stats do. Download RCON Hub, add the WARDOGS pack, and give your players a leaderboard worth climbing.
