The Isle (Evrima) server manager

Run The Isle (Evrima) on your own PC or a rented server, without the usual traps: Game.ini settings the game ignores without a word (in our test one wrong key left max players at 0), dinos lost when players log out near a restart, servers left behind after a patch, bans with no unban, and no chat or kill feed over RCON. RCON Hub checks Game.ini before every start, warns players from 15 minutes before a restart, updates before each start, gives you timed bans and real unbans, and posts chat and kills to Discord — in the same free app as your other games. Vanilla only: no grow, teleport, species swap or dino storage.

The Isle (Evrima) server manager at a glance

Live connection
Evrima's own RCON, one steady connection per server, plus the server's log for chat, joins, leaves and kills
Hosting
Your PC (SteamCMD app 412680, always the evrima branch); rented servers with RCON, a Pterodactyl panel and SFTP or the panel's files. Not Nitrado: the Isle server we tested there runs the old Legacy version
Game.ini
Checked before every start for unknown keys, typos and keys in the wrong section, which the game ignores without a word
Restarts
Every 6, 8 or 12 hours or at set times, warned from 15 minutes, "log out now" at 6 minutes, saved before every stop
Bans
Timed or permanent, with a reason and evidence link; real unbans (applied at the next restart); shared across servers and ClanStop
Vanilla only
No grow, teleport, species swap or dino storage
Linux
Preview: the tool runs natively on Linux, and can host the server on your Linux PC or look after a rented one
Tested
Live, on a real server on this PC and on a rented BisectHosting server with a player in game: install and updates, RCON, Game.ini, players and their dinos, chat and deaths from the log, kick, a timed ban and an unban; a kill between two players not yet

What RCON Hub does for The Isle (Evrima) servers

Settings the game ignores, caught

Evrima ignores a misspelled key, or the right key in the wrong section, without a word. In our test one wrong key left max players at 0, so nobody could join. RCON Hub checks Game.ini before every start, says which line is wrong and where it belongs, and edits it with plain labels while the server is stopped (it rewrites the file while it runs).

Restarts that don't cost dinos

Logging out close to a restart can lose a player's dino. Restarts every 6, 8 or 12 hours are announced in game from 15 minutes, with "log out now to keep your dino" at 6 minutes; then the world is saved and the server stops cleanly. The game even logs when someone left without safe-logging.

Never a patch behind

Evrima servers don't update themselves, and players on a newer build can't join an older one. RCON Hub updates before each start when Steam has a newer build, backs up first, and always uses the evrima branch (the old Legacy build is retired).

Timed bans and real unbans

Evrima's RCON can ban but never unban. RCON Hub bans for a set number of hours or for good, with a reason and evidence link, and lifts a ban by taking it out of the game's ban list. The unban applies at the next restart, and the Bans page shows who's waiting.

Chat and the kill feed in Discord

Evrima's RCON has no chat and no kills. RCON Hub reads them from the server's log, on your PC or over SFTP, onto the Chat and Kill feed pages, player profiles and Discord, a few lines at a time.

Who's on, and as what

Every player's species, growth and vitals, a headcount per species, and species caps that warn when one has too many players (nobody is kicked by it).

Bans that follow cheaters

A ban can cover all your Isle servers, and ClanStop global bans share them with other communities, so a banned player can't just move to the next server.

Admins, whitelist and VIPs

The game reads its admin, whitelist and VIP lists only at start and rewrites Game.ini while it runs. RCON Hub edits them while the server is stopped, in the right section, so they stick.

Combat loggers flagged

A player who logs out mid-fight is easy to miss. RCON Hub flags anyone who leaves right after losing health, safelogged or not, for staff and in Discord, with the evidence.

No-adult zones

Mark areas, like nesting grounds, where grown dinos shouldn't stay. One that stays too long gets a private warning, then is flagged, noted or kicked.

Welcomes and answers in private

Triggers can message a player privately: a welcome on their first join, or an answer when they ask about rules or Discord in chat. A weekly Discord report shows new players, how many left within 5 minutes and how many came back.

Under the hood

How RCON Hub connects to The Isle (Evrima)

Evrima has its own RCON, not Source RCON, so the usual RCON clients can't talk to it. RCON Hub keeps one steady connection per server and sends one command at a time. Chat, joins, leaves and kills come from the server's log, on your PC or over SFTP; Game.ini and the game's ban list are edited as files, while the server is stopped where the game needs it.

Bans

Banning players on The Isle (Evrima)

Ban in all games

RCON Hub can ban one person on every server of every game you run, from one page. Here's how that ban reaches The Isle (Evrima): Bans go into the game's own ban list, for a set number of hours or for good, with the reason, evidence link and who in RCON Hub, and are shared across your Isle servers. Evrima has no unban command: RCON Hub takes the ban out of the game's list, and the unban applies when the server restarts (the running server keeps its list in memory). A banned player who joins anyway is kicked.

ClanStop global bans (Fair-Fight)

On servers where you turn it on, a clear cheat confirmed by ClanStop keeps a player off every server that enforces global bans. A match kicks the player from that server right away; only ClanStop can make a ban global, after re-checking the evidence. How global bans work. How to set it up, step by step (English guide).

ClanStop global bans reach The Isle through the same ban list: a globally banned player is kicked when they join. There are no Isle-specific fair-play rules: the game's log has no weapon, distance or position for a kill.

The Isle (Evrima) server manager FAQ

Why does my Isle server ignore my Game.ini settings?

The game skips a key it doesn't know, or one in the wrong section, without a word, and it rewrites Game.ini while it runs, so edits made then are lost. RCON Hub checks the file before every start, shows the line and the fix, and only edits it while the server is stopped.

Do players lose their dino when the server restarts?

They can, if they log out close to the restart. RCON Hub warns from 15 minutes before, tells players to log out now at 6 minutes, saves, then stops the server cleanly. It can't bring back a lost dino: the game's saves are encrypted.

Can it grow, teleport, swap species or store dinos?

No. Vanilla only: no grow, teleport, species swap or dino storage. Evrima's RCON has no command for them, the saves are encrypted, and the server plugins that add them break with every patch. RCON Hub stays vanilla, so patch day doesn't break it.

Why does an unban only work after a restart?

Evrima has no unban command. RCON Hub takes the ban out of the game's ban list, but the running server checks joins against the list it loaded at start. The Bans page shows who's waiting, and the next restart lets them in.

Does it work with rented servers?

Yes, with RCON on the port your host gives you, a Pterodactyl panel (like BisectHosting) for start, stop and restart, and SFTP or the panel's files for Game.ini, bans and the log. Not Nitrado for now: the Isle server we tested there runs the old Legacy version, which current games can't join.

Is Evrima's RCON safe?

It sends everything, password included, in plain text, so RCON Hub never opens its port. Windows can make its own allow rule for the server the first time it runs; the Server page warns when the RCON port can be reached and says how to limit it.

Is the The Isle (Evrima) server manager ready?

Yes. Its tools have been tested on a real The Isle (Evrima) server. Adding a rented server (Nitrado, a Pterodactyl panel or FTP) is still marked Preview until it has been fully tried on a real host. RCON Hub is beta software, so back up before big changes.

Where can I get help with the The Isle (Evrima) server manager?

Ask on ClanStop's Discord. Server owners and the RCON Hub team answer setup questions, bug reports and game requests there. The link is in the menu and at the bottom of every page.
