7 Days to Die updates

The latest releases of 7 Days to Die's tools, newest first. The hub updates itself and every game's tools from inside the app.

  1. 7 Days to Die 0.1.28
    • Your language: every screen is translated into Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Korean and Japanese. In RCON Hub it follows the language picked in Settings → General → Language (or Automatic, your browser's); on its own it has a language menu at the top.
    • Messages the tool writes itself (news, admin actions, job progress, errors, rented-server setup notes) show in your language too.
    • Discord posts in your community's language: Automation → Discord has "Language of the posts". News, moderation posts, the daily summary and the bot's replies use it; texts you typed are posted as you wrote them. What players read in game stays English.
    • Moderation posts on Discord showed "·" in their footer; fixed.
  2. 7 Days to Die 0.1.27
    • SFTP file access for rented servers: Servers → Setup → File access has a new choice, SFTP, for hosts that offer it (sign in with a password or a private key). The first Test shows the server's key and saves it with the setup; if a different key ever answers at that address, the tool refuses to connect, so nobody can stand in for your host.
  3. 7 Days to Die 0.1.26
    • Tested on a real Nitrado server: console, players and chat, restart, kicks and bans, staff, backups, settings, wipes and mods.
    • Nitrado setup picks the port that answers: Nitrado maps a server's ports, so the port in the config file isn't the one reachable from outside. The live connection now uses the port Nitrado lists (seen live: 8081 in the file, 25260 from outside).
    • Nitrado settings reach the game: a setting Nitrado also lists is now saved to the server's config file as well as to Nitrado's settings. On a real Nitrado server the game ran on its file, so a change sent only to Nitrado never arrived, and the tool said Nitrado had put it back.
    • A saved setting shows its new value until the restart applies it (Nitrado writes it into the config file only when the server starts); before, the box went back to the old text.
    • The server log after a restart: Nitrado names a new log file at every start, so the tool now follows the newest log in the folder instead of the one it found during setup. On a server set up earlier, open its Setup and save once.
    • One wipe at a time: a wipe asked for while another was counting down started straight away, and both ran at once. Now a second wipe is refused while one is coming (cancel it, or use its Now button), and skipped while one runs.
    • Nitrado: its own backups show again. Nitrado sends the backup list in a different shape than expected (found on a real Nitrado server), so the list could come up empty.
